Hawaiian Quilt Squares Silk Screen
Hawaiian Quilt Squares Silk Screen
This Hawaiian quilt silk screen features traditional designs of ʻulu, anthurium, lauaʻe (fern), plumeria, and pineapple. It can be used on polymer clay with heavy body acrylic paint, mica powders, or fine chalk pastels.
Hawaiʻi has a unique quilting tradition which features symmetrical patterns stitched onto fabric, often depicting nature and cultural motifs. This original artwork was licensed from a local artist on Maui.
Dimensions of printed area: 10 cm x 14.5 cm (3.9 in x 5.7 in)
We cut the larger quilt squares out with a tissue blade, but the screen is also seen here with the 4 cm Swimsuit cutter, 3 cm trapezoid Brandy outline cutter, and the arch dangle cutter from the Leilani cutter set.
These Hawaiian quilt designs are also available as debossing cutters.
